Dr. Dana Ataya is a board-certified, subspecialty-trained breast radiologist and Associate Professor at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, where she also served as Chief Resident. Her clinical practice involves interpreting mammograms, breast ultrasounds, breast MRI, and performing imaging guided breast procedures.
Dr. Dana has received several teaching awards and has been an invited speaker at local, regional, and national meetings. She is a co-investigator on two NIH/NCI R01 grants, including a grant seeking to identify radiomic and pathomic signatures to predict upstaging of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
Dr. Dana is also a Co-Principal Investigator on a novel pilot study applying eco-evolutionary principles to treat HR+ HER2- metastatic breast cancer.
